Thirty-Seven South attended the annual Australian Superyacht Marine Export - ASMEX conference this year for two days prior to the Sanctuary Cove boat show. Director Allan Jouning reports on the conference and the unity being shown by the Australian Marine industry, followed by two days at the show.
The main route for yachts from both the Mediterranean and the Caribbean is via the Panama Canal, so yachts coming in to the South Pacific from the Mediterranean would cross the Atlantic to Panama first. When crossing the Atlantic a lot of yachts go via the Canary Islands.
New Zealand marine company 37South has been appointed the preferred supplier to the marine sector for a new conservation initiative in New Zealand. 37South founding director Allan Jouning says that we are very excited by this new opportunity and what it unlocks for our yachting friends and clients visiting New Zealand.
