Tribu’ Refit 2010

23rd December 2010:
The refit work on Tribu was expanded, which is unsurprising given she has worked hard continuously for the last 3 years. However all work was successfully completed, including hull and bottom painting and engine servicing.

As a RINA class ship, any work carried out on Tribu must comply with class requirements, and annual reports must be done on the state and condition of the equipment. This process involves a lot of time, inspection and paperwork as any captain will tell you.

Tribu relaunched on the 20th of December 2010, to continue her owners' cruise of the South Island before heading to Tasmania and Australia's east coast.

15th November 2010:
We have the 50m expedition motor yacht Tribu' on the slipway in Auckland for a work period before her owner's summer cruise. She is part way through a circumnavigation and will cruise New Zealand and Australia following her refit.

Tribu's home port is Genoa Italy. She is built to RINA class and is 165ft or 50.5m in length. She has a full deck owner's suite with sauna and gym and 4 guest suites.

With minimalist interior styling designed for simplicity, comfort and functionality, she has everything onboard for exploring remote areas. Tribu' can accommodate up to 10 in five cabins.
